During the Summer term, Year 7 and Year 8 pupils took part in the UKMT’s Junior Maths Challenge, which is a 60-minute multiple choice challenge.

The challenge encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in applying fundamental mathematical techniques to non-routine problems. For many students it was their first time completing the challenge and we are very proud of all of their efforts.

Both Reece D and Jay M received Bronze certificates with Reece also securing the Best in School Award., and Year 7 student, Leah P, received a Best in Year certificate. All students received a certificate of participation for their efforts; well done to Tegan K, Shannon C, Tilly W, Kate M, Olivia W, Toby D, Brooke J, Nevan L, Miley D, Danny N and Jack B.
