KJ Linked - Weekly Learning Toolkit

29/06/2020 - KJ Linked Issue 13 released!

As you will have seen, the Government is encouraging secondary schools to consider a partial return for Year 10 and Year 12 students from Monday 1st June 2020. Our view continues to be that it is important that we take appropriate, extensive and considered actions to assure the safety of all members of our school community to make the right decision at the right time.

Issue 10 of KJ Linked - Keeping Our Community Connected

Welcome to Issue 10 of KJ Linked.

This edition contains the latest information about Year 10s returning to school and the improvements we have made to Key Stage 3 timetables to assist with online learning.

We are all working hard to adapt to a new way of life, and as a school we are continually developing ideas and strategies to ensure online learning is as engaging as possible. We have given much consideration to safety in school, and have also made

changes to timetabling, which we hope will make managing workload and accessing support much easier for our students. Details are on pages 2 and 3.

We understand that this continues be a stressful time for many people and with this in mind, we have included a number of ideas to help you and your family take a little time out. Why not try our family TV and Movie Quiz or see how many things you can cross off the Joyful June calendar? By sharing the success of our students, both past and present, we hope to inspire positivity too.

As always, please continue to send us your stories and photographs by email to kingjames@kj1a.com

We love to hear about the things you have been doing at home but please remember that we must have consent from a parent or carer to publish any photographs which contain people. Until next week, stay safe, stay well and stay positive.
