KJ Linked - Weekly Learning Toolkit

29/06/2020 - KJ Linked Issue 13 released!

As you will have seen, the Government is encouraging secondary schools to consider a partial return for Year 10 and Year 12 students from Monday 1st June 2020. Our view continues to be that it is important that we take appropriate, extensive and considered actions to assure the safety of all members of our school community to make the right decision at the right time.

Issue 9 of KJ Linked - Keeping Our Community Connected

Hello and welcome to Issue 9 of KJ Linked. We hope you and your family are well and have enjoyed the

half term break.

As the Government begins to relax the lockdown rules a little more, we are all looking forward to seeing our friends and family again. We are busy in school making arrangements for Years 10 and 12 to safely attend face-to-face lessons from 15th June, and our teachers are keen to be reunited with students.

With this in mind, this issue of KJ Linked contains detailed information from Mr Grieveson, our headteacher, which is particularly relevant for students in these year groups, but it will also help to reassure parents and carers that we are taking every precaution to ensure a safe environment for all students when they return to school.

As is usual, this issue of KJ Linked also offers some ideas for keeping busy and making the most of the extra time we find ourselves with. We hope you are inspired by something you find inside. We are always looking for contributions for our newsletter from students and parents, so don’t forget to email ideas for activities, or your lockdown stories to us at kingjames@kj1a.com

Until next week, remember to login to Class Charts and complete the online work set by subject teachers.

Stay positive and stay safe.
