Year 11 Art students have been taking part in a practical printmaking workshop inspired by the work of British printmaker, artist and designer, Angie Lewin.

Our young artists study the work of numerous artists as part of their GCSE studies and develop skills in a host of creative techniques. This allows them to build a diverse portfolio of artwork and identify their own strengths and style.

Angie Lewin works in linocut, wood engraving, lithography and screen printing to produce pieces influenced by horticulture and the native plant life of Norfolk and the Scottish Highlands. Our students showed great skill in producing themed pieces of their own and finished results were excellent.
