King James has raised a grand total of £394.33 for Macmillan Cancer Support at our annual World's Biggest Coffee Morning fundraising event.

Thanks to generous donations from staff, students and their families, there was a wide variety of biscuits, cakes and savoury items available for us all to enjoy in both the Sixth Form Common Room and the main Dining Hall throughout the day.

This charity is a very worthy cause and one which is close to many hearts at King James so it was great to see so many people joining in the event and giving so generously.

Our Academy Council and Student Support Workers work hard to organise a wide range of activities to support both local and national charities throughout the year. Not only does fundraising bring our school community together, but it also gives our students a great sense of achievement and encourages them to get involved in their local community.

Well done everyone.
