As part of our extensive programme of STEM activities, students in Year 7 have been designing and building a motor-powered car.

Our STEM programme is designed to encourage young people to consider pursuing careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths through a range of special events, educational visits, practical activities and design challenges.

The 'Race to the Line' challenge saw students work in teams of four to develop a car which they then raced in a special event hosted by visitors from RAF Leeming Bar.
