Following our win at the Regional Final and subsequent success at the National Robotics Final in 2016, we have launched a new after-school Robotics Club for students in Years 7-9 who are interested in developing skills in programming and coding.

The club has been launched in response to the positive feedback and many requests for further robotics activities that we received from last year's participants. Robotics Club takes place each Tuesday evening from 3.30pm until 5.00pm with Mr Lawton, our STEM Co-ordinator, IT Technician, Mr Stamp, and industrial volunteer, Helen Hanks, who is an Advanced Control Engineer at Air Products, a prestigious company that produces gases and chemicals including rocket fuel for NASA.

Not only will students be able to develop advanced skills in programming, but they will also be able to see the links between Mathematics and Engineering through practical activities to design, build and compete with robots.
