Our Year 11 Music students have organised an exciting competition event, which will see young bands from King James and our neighbouring schools perform on stage at Bishop Auckland Town Hall.

The 'Battle of the Bands' event, which will take place on Monday 12th December from 6.00pm until 8.00pm gives young musicians in the local area the opportunity to showcase their talents and gain experience of performing in front of a large audience.

Although essentially a competition, this event is traditionally an excellent opportunity for musicians to meet and share their love of music. It is also a brilliant social event for young people in the local community who will be able to enjoy a wide variety of live music on the night. Tickets will be available on the door for a small charge.
