Our Year 7 Football team played again this week against Bishop Barrington, dominating the pitch and challenging the oppostiiton throughout the game; displaying a strong defence from the start and players still on a high from last weeks win enabled our Year 7's to stay concentrated even when their rivals took possession of the ball. This wasn't for long though, with Coban S, our goalkeeper guarding the net from any potential striking opportunities.

Our fantastic goal-scorers Rhys P (4), Jake D (2) and Bradley S (1) ensured that once the final whistle blew, King James were the winning team, with a final result of 7-0. Deciding the "men of the match' was a difficult decision for Mr Bishop as the whole team had contributed well but Rhys P and Jack S were chosen for their involvement, well done Year 7s!

Our Year 8 Cross Country team ran to victory this week after taking part in the Cross Country Championships in Barnard Castle. The team, comprising of Davylee D, Jermaine R, Charlie R, Dylan H, Kyle B, Blake S, Dylan N and Jack W did King James proud with a strong lead from the start, very well done team!

Finally, we had our Year 8 Football team playing; however due to injury and other commitments 6 of the Year 7's were selected to take part. Our team played a brilliant match despite the circumstances and it was evident that King James were the stronger team throughout the challenging game, finalising with a draw of 4-4. Goal-scorers were Rhys P (2), Jake D (1) and Dylan N (1). Jake D and Jack S were the men of the match; what a week of sport King James have had, we are delighted.
