Our Academy calendar is full of various fundraising activities and events which raise money to help others. Last month, a fantastic event was held in our Main Hall to raise funds for the Newcastle RVI Childrens' Hospital.

The request for fundraising was originally put forward by student, Molly B, who wanted to find a way to thank the hospital for the care she had recieved there. The event featured live music from our students and a host of fun activities including "Balance the coin on the Lemon', "Beat the Goalie', "Hula Hoop Challenge', "Funny Photo Booth' and the "Baked Bean Eating Competition', along with a raffle, tombola, cake sale, hair braiding and much more.

Thanks to our dedicated Prefect Team, who began selling raffle tickets and cakes in the two weeks prior to the main event, and the overwhelming support of our students and staff, the event raised £350 for the RVI. This brings our grand fundraising total for this academic year to an astounding £3,295.29 so far, with many local and national charities benefitting from our efforts.
