Each academic year, our students, parents and staff work together on a variety of fundraising projects to show our support for our local, national and global communities. We are proud to announce that our current total stands at an impressive £1,708.29!

Fundraising is an important part of Academy life at King James. Our students embrace every opportunity to help those in need, from well established national charities such as McMillan Cancer Support to our local Woodhouse Close Food Bank, which directly supports families in our local area.

In-school fundraising initiatives are also hugely important as they offer opportunities to support and subsidise various student-led activities and educational visits, such as our forthcoming trips to Geneva, Brazil and Glastonbury Festival. We believe that all of our students should have the opportunity to travel; fundraising to reduce overall costs helps to remove financial barriers and widen participation.
