Wearing the traditional house colours, our whole school enjoyed the sunshine and track events at our annual Sports Day.

Whilst development work at King James' grounds continued, this years Sports Day took place at the adjacent Bishop Auckland Cricket Club. As per tradition, the whole school came out in force to support their peers, dressed in the five house colours with co-ordinated banners, flags and face paint.

We witnessed some outstanding races throughout the morning as our students took part in a variety of track events; races showed not only the talent of our young athletes, but also the determination and sportsmanship of which we are so proud.

Points awarded for track events were added to those gained in our field events, which took place in a separate event earlier in the week, and the overall winning house was Wolsey, the mighty blues. Well done to all who participated.
