A Level Mathematicians who took part in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge are celebrating great success with two silver and three bronze certificates in this year's challenge, which attracted over 81,000 entrants.

Daniel B received "Best in School' and "Best in Year' awards, and also achieved a silver certificate, as did Paige M. Joshua M, Lucas B and Ryan B all achieved a bronze certificate.

Similarly, in the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge, which attracted over 200,000 participants nationally, students achieved one gold, one silver and three bronze certificates.

Thomas W, Ben C and Niamh E all received bronze awards, Thomas M received a silver and Iwan M received Best in School, Best in Year and a gold certificate. Iwan's high score also allowed him to progress to the next Europe-wide "Kangaroo' round and to achieve a certificate of qualification for his excellent efforts.
