A garden bench and plaque has been installed in our new central space in memory of Lucy Smith thanks to a number of fundraising activities organised by her devoted friends.

Year 10 girls, Alex H, Lydia F, Amy F, Georgia B, Ellie-Faye G, Abby W, Becca D, Amy B, Emma G and Reagan H, all pictured here, raised £920 with the help of their peers and King James staff. £120 was used to purchase the memorial bench and plaque, and a cheque for £800 was presented to Lucy's Mum.

The bench and plaque is located in the area that will soon become our memorial garden; this is currently being designed by a landscape artist with a view to construction during the summer.
