The Year 10 Rugby League team had a visit from top Women's Amateur Boxer Amanda Coulson this week. The visit was part of the Sky Sports Living for Sport Project that the team are involved with. This project not only improves the skills of the players but also gives them the opportunity to work with pupils in younger year groups to work as peer mentors and coaches.

Amanda is one of Britain's leading female sport stars. Amanda first represented England in 2004 and has won silver medals in three European Union Championships and struck gold in major international tournaments in Crete and Turkey. The 29-year-old has been to two World Championships and, domestically, has won four senior ABA. After talking to pupils about her career she then put pupils through a strenuous boxing fitness circuit.
