As part of our A.C.E Day activities, a group of Year 7 students, accompanied by Mrs Stewart, visited the Durham Food Bank to deliver and help sort groceries that they had collected in school.

Students regularly take part in fundraising events throughout the year but getting involved in such a hands-on way allows students to really appreciate the difficulties faced by many local families. We make at least two trips to the Food Bank each year, including one just before Christmas; students find this is a particularly poignant but rewarding experience.
