Four of our talented Year 10 mathematicians, Thomas M, Iwan M, Niamh E and Emelia E recently took part in the Further Maths Support Programme team challenge at Teesside University and came seventh overall out of 22 participating schools.

This is a fantastic achievement in an extremely challenging Mathematics programme, which required them to compete in a series of team challenges include relays, identifying sequences and a challenging non-GCSE topic round.

The team had been preparing for a few weeks at an after school club with the help of two of our Sixth Form Maths students, Ben M and Daniel B.
