Mrs Babington with some of the dedicated student gardening team.

The first batch of Mrs Babington's Incredible Edible plants are thriving in our new fruit and vegetable garden thanks to the hard work of a dedicated student team.

The group, some of whom are pictured here, will soon be able to enjoy the fruits of their labour when the vegetables that they have grown themselves are used in Mrs Babington's Food Technology lessons. This is a fun, hands-on project where students learn about healthy eating and nutrition in a highly practical and rewarding way, as well as developing horticultural knowledge too.

Students have really enjoyed working together to select, plant and care for the plants; many have even discovered an interest in gardening.
