On Sunday 14th July 2013 a group of eight students and three staff from King James I Academy visited Muirfield Golf Club for the first Practice Day of the British Open Golf Championships.

The students were able to follow players as they practised on the course, chat with them as they moved between holes and experience some of the activities on offer for keen golfers in the HSBC Simulator Centre. Our students met Rory McIlroy, Luke Donald, Nick Faldo and followed Tiger Woods, VJ Singh, Ricky Fowler, Padraig Harrington and other famous golfers throughout the day.
