Students enjoyed a lesson with the Head Master at the school.

Nurture Group students have enjoyed a brilliant trip to Beamish Museum this month as a reward for their hard work and progress since the beginning of the academic year in September.

At the museum, students went down the mine to experience the terrible conditions that working class people had to endure, including children younger than themselves. They also had a lesson from the Headmaster in the school and went to the ‘Frosty Fair’, which was created specially for the festive season, where they enjoyed ice skating and hot chocolate. They were also able to meet the real reindeers and walk down the forest path to see the ‘Elf Village’.

Overall, a fantastic day was had by all.
