A group of our Year 9 students, who are all members of our Girls Active group, are currently planning a range of fundraising activiites to support their upcoming trip to Wimbledon in July.

The girls, who have been chosen for their contribution in their PE lessons and for their continuous positive behaviour in school, will be organising a number of events that will enable them to raise the funds for them to travel to London and experience the amazing atmosphere of Wimbledon. Miss Short, our Assistant Director of Learning for PE will be accompanying the group for the two day excursion to the captial.

A recent bake sale managed to raise a total of fifty pounds that will contribute to travel and accomodation expenses. A Football tournament and Dance event are currently in the organising pipeline, two activities that we have no doubt will be popular amongst students. Keep an eye out for our Girls Active fundraising events this term and next.
