Students in all years groups united to fill Rotary Shoeboxes.

Thanks to the generosity of our students and staff, we have filled an amazing 38 boxes for the Rotary Shoebox Scheme, which will be distributed to people in Eastern Europe who live in a world of poverty.

The scheme organizes the distribution of Rotary shoeboxes containing toys, toiletries, educational items and household goods to countries such as Romania, Ukraine, Moldova and Albania. For many of the recipients, it will be the first present that they have ever received and it lets them know that somebody, somewhere cares.

As boxes are categorized according to gender and age, our students and staff worked hard to ensure that a selection of boxes were filled, and that the £2 cash donation per box was raised to help cover the costs of delivery. We would like to extend our thanks to all who supported the scheme.
