Our FBM (Future Business Magnates) Team have finished in second place in the FBM Competition 2016 with their eco-friendly product called 'Eazy Shred'.

The team of eight Year 8 students, working with Miss Martin under the company name, 'Recycle Right', came up with the excellent concept of a plastic shredding device, which can attach to the top of a standard household recycling bin. The shredder allows plastic bottles and other rigid plastics to be quickly and easily shredded into small pieces, therefore taking up less space in the bin.

The team, consisting of Beth M, James H, Eleanor R, Toby B, Holly K, Amelia C, Megan H and Rebecca H performed extremely well in all six challenges, which included research and product development, marketing and funding, and a "Dragon's Den' style presentation.
