UKMT Junior Mathematical Challenge

Key stage 3 pupils have achieved two silver and seven bronze certificates in this year's UKMT Junior Mathematical Challenge.

Over 250,000 pupils from across the UK have recently sat the 2015 Junior Maths Challenge with roughly the top 6% receiving a gold certificate, the next 13% silver, and the next 21% of students in the UK achieving bronze.

The bronze certificate winners are Chantal D, Alex Philpott and Tiegan C in Year 8, and Kieran W, Sam O, Lee D and Riley J in Year 7. The silver certificate winners are Marshall G in Year 8 and Courtney S in Year 7; both of these students won Best in Year Certificates as well.

Courtney's score also meant that she won the best in school certificate for the Junior challenge.
