After impressing his manager during his Year 11 work experience placement, Cameron W has secured a part-time position at Marks and Spencers, which will fit around his studies as he enters our Sixth Form.

Cameron was offered the job at the end of the placement week in July and as his Year 11 studies were complete, he was able to begin work immediately. Throughout the summer holidays he has enjoyed regular working hours but he will soon settle into a part-time schedule as he embarks upon his A-Level studies.

He said, "I really enjoyed my work experience but never expected that things would turn out so well. I intended to seek part-time work when I began Sixth Form so I am really pleased to have this opportunity. Marks and Spencers are a great company to work for."

Our Year 11 work placement programme gives our students the opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of sectors including education, music and entertainment, construction, finance, healthcare and customer services, as well as in retail. We would like to congratulate Cameron on his achievement.
