Transition support starts in Year 6 when the Head of Year 7 and other staff visit Year 6 pupils in their primary schools. Visits to the Academy can also be arranged. The induction days in July offer a valuable opportunity for pupils to familiarise themselves with the school; there is a Summer School available to all Year 6 pupils and the support continues with the Year Team in September.
